One Year ago today my baby sister had her ICD put in. Feels kind of like yesterday. I remember it well. I also remember the tremendous response from the community, Hearts For Hannah, and our secret christmas tree. Never before had I felt the presence of other's thoughts and prayers like i did that day. I wish I was at home to be with my family on this day... but my gift to her will have to wait. At least i am not in a hospital watching the status of her surgery on a screen and instead counting the blessing that is my sister.
